Yumiko Li Yiu Kwan, graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Design Institute, worked in A Tentative Atelier and Blackle Kurt Ho Studio as a fashion design assistant for an internship. She is currently working for Fistar Footwear Enterprise as a Junior Designer.

She has awarded an exchange scholarship to Central Saint Martins in United Kingdom in 2019.

Observation is the way for Yumiko to search for inspirations and it is also one of my strength. That why the themes of the projects and collections are all inspired by the things or people around her, and this is what she enjoys.

“Knotted Time” is a fall-winter 2023 unisex collection, inspired by personal experiences of attending several funerals and the burial garments worn on the deceased. The word “knotted” consists of two meanings, including the knots applied on the opening of the burial garments and frozen the last moment of the deceased at the funeral.

Capsule Collection for Doughnut

Dandelion’s Adventure is a capsule collection featuring the story of brave traveling dandelion seeds, like people who have big dreams and go for it. The dandelions blown by the wind will disperse into seed with the shape like a small white umbrella, and fly to a new place with the wind to take root in new places.
